Good morning Breeze,

That was one heck of a vix spike for only bringing the 55 ema to the zero line.

Not much time was spent there either.

I'm not sure a lot of accumulation happened in that quick thrust down. Bull/ bear didn't even get to zero.

I think it is showing us that greater volatility is in the cards for us.

A display of the power of a three wave?, or the quickest four wave in history.

I sure prefer the latter.

If so, prepare to witness euphoria and a five wave.

I'd be remiss not to note that 5 waves can truncate.

Not to inject politics, but the final result of the election (that is only 73 days away) could be very impactful.

Since Powell has confirmed it is time for rate reductions (after the market has already dropped 75 basis points on the 2 year) it's reasonable to expect a synchronized global reflation.

In 2007 the Fed paused their interest rate hikes of 2006 and it kicked off a commodity super cycle.

Lower rates spawn greater demand of everything.

I'll be watching WTI crude, which has chronically been in tight inventory this year.

As rates decline the sale of homes and autos will pick up, and that will put us in higher demand levels than what we saw in 2019 pre covid). That's BULLISH!

The demographics and expanding youth populations in the emerging markets assure a global rise in fossil fuel consumption.

Can you imagine the wealth creation of the USA providing the world with cleanly harvested affordable fossil fuels? That's very BULLISH TOO!

Bob
