New Jersey surfer gets arrested after police officers confront him for not having a "beach badge."

These officers are certified clowns.

28-year-old Liam Mahoney was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstruction of justice after he was put into a head lock and taken to the ground by police.

A witness said Mahoney was targeted right when he got out of the water by officers who went after him for not having a "beach badge."

Beach badges are reportedly required for admission to Belmar beaches during the summer for $12.

"The police seemed to have targeted him as soon as he stepped out of the water from surfing."
