Certainly true. I worried when Apple was constructing their intergalactic spaceship campus due to all the commentary about past successful companies building massive new headquarters for themselves after dominated their competition in lucrative markets. It was seen as a key indicator of a company that had gotten too big, successful, and arrogant.

So far Apple has escaped the doomed fate, but I never looked into which companies were examples of that corporate hubris, or how long it took for them to fade.

Can anyone here enlighten?
