Nice to see Nextel move up, good luck to all, now what to do next, gamble?
I have been watching Nextel for 4 months, I mean watching, real time quotes, daily charts etc. Nextel does not follow a consistant trend with Nasdaq. It has a personality like an untrained animal, sometime it comes, sometime it runs away. It's nice that today the decline reversed, at least enough to make some of you whole. Now is the time to reflect, cash out or take a chance.
Based upon my non TA feelings, for what it's worth, Nextel has shown the propensity to decline on bad news faster then to grow on good news. I'm talking world affairs now, not company news. Lately company news is taken with a grain of salt.
If I had Nextel, I would not own it over the weekend, even though I might have to pay more to buy it back, should it gap up on Monday, before the open. If Clinton's reps meet with Sadam over the weekend and such meeting does not produce a Iraq backdown, the market will react Monday. I've been part of this before, I don't want to be part of it again. Selling one day, to buy back another does not show treason, it's merely a show of economic protection.
I sincerely wish each and ever one of you good luck, I hope today's event helped you all, I can emagine what the mental strain was like, not knowing if Nextel would break down.. Today was unexpected, thus, the future is uncertain, pay attention because I want all of us to make the big bucks that Arnie has predicted.
