Parents were interested in their children receiving an education instead of hearing the paranoia and horse shit from Teacher Unions and the radical Left.
I already gave you the reasons why schools remained closed during the pandemic. None of them have anything to do with teachers unions or the radical left.

The "red states" couldn't handle lockdowns as well as the "blue states" because of the nature of their respective economies. Hence it doesn't surprise me to see "red state" people equate the lockdowns with left-wing authoritarianism.

It's wrong, but I can understand it from a certain perspective. Plus they aren't 100% wrong when they accuse the left of politicizing the issue.

Either way, though, the original tweet was a classic non sequitur.

Besides, the pandemic is over. Only one side wants to keep it alive for political reasons.
