Hi Richard, I've always thought each election was important and have never missed voting on a presidential election. I too am very concerned about this election. Kamala is the single worst candidate I've ever listened to for her positions. She is so far NOT what our country stands for. The Dems need to lose badly and give them a wake up call that far left will leave you out of power. My one fear is she learned from the most corrupt election gimmick person there ever has been - Biden. You are not the only person who has expressed his "Holding of funds until the election. I suspect we are many, who wonder about our fine country. It is getting hard to find good dividend yields, and I have been growing money in my account since last October. I had rolled cash into JPM CD's and 2 year treasuries. Both of which have reduced the yield by 75 basis points. So as we wait for the Fed to reduce a rate, the market has already spoken. I now see money flows going into dividend aristocrats in such volume, that my old stand by stocks(KMI and T) to buy with dividend revenue streams are yielding in the 5's vs. the 6's and 7's percent earlier this year. When insured money gets cheap, chasing yield into riskier instruments (equities) becomes the game. Markets are high and we need a resilient economy without an escalated war to go higher from here. Not sure what could tumble this long in the tooth bull. I'm pretty much resolved into building cash and being patient. Still have my full positions, but being picky on new buys. I'm trying to catch a dip on VZ and PR. Other than that mowing grass and staying out of trouble. <smile> Have you found any new pretty rocks? Bob
