Thanks for the info, Stan. We're coming into peak fire season now. The Gorge gets dry, hot, and windy. We've been clearing pickup truck loads of dry and dead vegetation away from our house and outbuildings.

September 4 will be the anniversary of the huge 2017 Eagle Creek fire, from which we scrambled to evacuate at 1 a.m. We'll be ready if it happens again.
