What was the source of the initial contamination that exploded in the BH processing plant?
Listeria is everywhere, and facilities that process meat products know that and have myriad regulations, protocols, and practices that are supposed to be employed to prevent it making its way into finished products. Go read them sometime. Extensive. Of course, Boar's head doesn't appear to have followed them. But saying that Trump lowered regulations on slaughterhouses somehow caused the listeria in this case that multiplied inside BH's plant seems far fetched.

I suppose the investigation could somehow trace it back to one of the several slaughterhouses that BH purchased from or utilized. Until then, the post with the Mother Jones piece seems completely disconnected from the Boar's Head mess. And it's not persuasive in its effort to smear Trump with the cause.

I mean, do we really need to stretch like that to smear Trump with all of the messes he created? I'm content with what we know he did and I don't think we need to soil our own credibility acting like Boar's Head was caused by Trump.
