Buz and SparQ.

Buz most likely is selling for virtually no profit, or even a loss. This product is meant to increase tie ratios period. And well it might.

If it does, Syquest and others could stand to benefit as well. Based on Philip's results from his new Buz, SyQuest SparQ can also handle the data rate, and also be much less expensive to use. For the latest rave review of SparQ, here is a link:

But SyJet is probably the best solution right now. It is also less expensive to use than Jaz1 or 2, and it can definitely handle the performance requirements.

So, SyQuest should be thanking Iomega for making Buz. It could be a helping hand in increasing SyQuest's tie ratios.
