You do not give a fuck how twisted it is that school kids have to train how to duck and hide.

When I was a high school kid, some of my fellow students had guns mounted in their pickup's gun racks in the school parking lot. No big deal and nobody cared.

When I was a kid, you could buy a mail order gun from the Sears or Monkey Ward catalogs and have it delivered to your house with no permits or ID required . No big deal and nobody cared.

In grade school, we were taught to hide under our desks, not from guns, but from nuclear bombs. That was a joke.

In reality, the odds of some kid getting shot at school are somewhat less than the odds of that kid being struck by lightning out in the playground. Chicago may be an exception..

I don't own a gun and have never cared to get one, but I'm damn glad of the 2nd Amendment which codifies my constitutional right as a US citizen to own one (or more).

Your government took most of your guns away and registers the few you're allowed to keep. I could say "good luck" when the shit hits the fan, but I really don't give a fuck. Same with all the other disarmed Western countries. I'm glad that the US is awash in the guns that are owned by the vast majority of law abiding folks. Build more prisons for the thugs and punks who use them to commit crimes.
