Me to. This one is on its fourth head gasket, second head, second set of injectors, third valve job, second turbo and has 75,000 miles on it. It is 38 years old - some of those issues may be due to age. But it galls me to work on an untouched truck with 500,000 kms on it that has never had anything more than an oil change.
And I have an engine that has always got me home but seems to be a bit weak on delivering longevity. I have gone from jumping in and whipping off to Jasper without a concern to not trusting it to get me back from Vancouver island.

I think the block and head will end up at Alec's machine for a deck job and O ring either the block or head.
Wish I had a bigger garage.
No idea which machine shop to trust these days - comes down to the guy on the machinery.
