We don't know how many people enter illegally. Logically, we can't know. We can only count border encounters. If we don't encounter them, we can't count them, only estimate them largely from encounters. If encounters are up, it could be that there are also more unknown entries or it could mean we're doing a better job of catching them or that they are coming via legal means such as asylum. And then there are potential illegal entries other than at the southern border.

You're basing your outrage mostly on your own inner outrage.

And you're clearly not interested in fixing the problem, merely mitigating it. Not even that, not mitigating it but, seemingly blaming the other guys for it.
