Instead, the Democrats are realizing that policy differences matter less than the preservation of democracy. Liz Cheney is doing just that. And she did it not by flip-flopping, but by sticking to her beliefs, even when it ruined her political career within the GOP. Above all, she is a lady of character. And she's proving that character still counts. Compare this to the Trump supporters who are all acting like peaceniks these days. They are now carrying the mantle of "nO wAr fOr pRoFiT."
