Watched the video of one of the two Elwha river dams being taken down in Stossel's story.

Salmon restored to it's native condition and that will help our Killer Whale populations recover along with restoration of many native species in Olympic National Park.

They were very, very small dams. More dams will be taken down in Oregon and Northern California too.

Very little actual power generation from all of them.

Snake river next...

Oh,

by the way literally millions and millions of salmon used to come up the Columbia and Snake rivers before they were damned. Not just hundreds of thousands.

I do get a kick out of Stossel.

He needs to do much more study and research of the real facts before he does a story.

There are other ways to generate electrical power that are much more sustainable.
