I watched the Glowtime event for Apple and thought that they had some nice presentations of the new iPhone, AirPods as well as Apple Watch.

I liked the AppleWatch being able to be used for detecting sleep apnea if the FDA approves it. It is also lighter and thinner which is probably good for those wearing the watches. I think the prices stayed the same.

The new AirPods were also nice with the new Pros waiting for FDA approval for being used as hearing aids.

The new phones were nice. I like the new button for the camera as well as the improvements to the camera and image editing. The AI stuff wasn't as much discussed but it what was discussed was nice.

Over on PED30, not everybody is as happy with the event but I think that is personal. Not a lot of discussion for things for the AVP but there were bits and pieces there making me think that an upgrade wouldn't come before, at the minimum, mid year.

Lots of talk about how Apple, by controlling the hardware and the software, is the only company that could have done some of the things announced today. I think they are setting the stage for arguments against trying to break up the company coming from some regulators.
