Your comments about rolls of pennies happens to be quite funny. If you must know, I don't use rolls of pennies. I prefer rolls of dimes. Since I don't trust banks, I bury the rolls out in my backyard. There was one time that I forgot exactly where I buried them, so I was forced to dig up my entire back yard.
It is also nice to know that you have such a grave concern for us other posters that you have to make it your duty to correct us.
In the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter who or who doesn't own stock in lgnd and it really isn't any of your business if they do or don't.
YOu have shown to me that you are quite preoccupied by how much money people have invested. You don't happen to be a liberal democrat? Not that there is anything wrong with being a LD, but that LD's always seem to take a keen interest in the financial matters of others, especially when it comes to class warfare. Many LD's love to pit groups of people against each other. I say this cuz you seem to be preoccupied with my money which is funny cuz I don't ever recall asking you about how much money you invest- I frankly couldn't care cuz I'm not a jealous person. And does it really make a difference if I had 100 shares of lgnd instead of 1000?
Your characterizing of those whom you believe to make snide remarks is uncalled for. You have no facts to make your claim. Take some of your own advice and think twice before making such arrogant and baseless remarks.
The beauty of SI is that anyone can post. Your dribble about who owns the stock and about those who you think are jealous is just ridiculous. Are you saying that those who don't own ligand should be forbidden to post their thoughts? I'd say you're getting a bit paranoid, Bob. No one here can affect the price of LGND by what they write.
If you use SI to make informed investment decisions, that's your business But it's not for you to decide what is and what is not appropriate to post. You can try preaching to the choir, but I doubt there are many who want to listen to you.
It's also nice to know that you have appointed yourself the inspector general of correcting misinformation, or what you perceive to be misinformation. To use your own logic, your life must be as empty as the others if you have to take time to answer those that make "snide" comments.
Finally, we can agree on one thing. LGND will make many people a lot of money-hopefully. But it won't be because of what's written here.
