I visited this year. The only disaster there is there's SO MUCH MONEY there from hippy techies rent is enormous & no one wants to be a plumber because there's nowhere to park a work truck. High rents are the reason people are homeless in any big city.

Traffic is terrible because there are too many rich assholes driving 100k cars like nazis.

It's still the hippest city on the west coast with a vibrant culture, music festivals galore etc. Santz Cruz & the Marin headlands are 2 hours away & the Sierras are 4 hours away, and gas its cheap.

You're just a spoiled whining pussy if you think SF is a disaster... SHEECH
