There is a lot of research that says Omega 3's are critical for brain health in old age.
Less dementia in populations with high levels of Omega 3's. Over 50% of the brain, I think, is DHA.
So I would try and get them somewhere. People with low levels of Omega 3's don't do as well in old age mentally or physically.
The best sources, IMO, are sardines like "Tiny Tots" in olive oil, (my favorte), they are tny fish, high in Omega 3's and low in mercury, salmon or fish oil tablets.
Green tea has lots of anti oxidants, antinflammatories and polyphenols, all of which protect the cells and DNA.
