If Brocade wants to believe that they have sewn up IBM, that's fine with me. Brocade/adam/wilhu were saying the same thing about SUN 9 months ago.

One thing I will agree with is that this particular data back-up application has nothing to do with any envisioned potential Storage OEM relationship. From what I understand the IBM IT manager found out about Ancor on the WWW, made some inquiries and the Ancor salesforce followed up..I guess the Internet is good for something, afterall.

At the very least, IBM makes a great reference account for horizontal applications of data back-up.
