Hungary is the very definition of a country that can vote in an autocracy but will eventually have to shoot its way out. (The same is often said about socialism, but that's only because a socialism can never succeed without some degree of autocratic rule.)

Meanwhile, despite what Trump claimed, Vicky Orban is not "well-respected" across Europe. In fact, most EU nations hate him. He was the only one who opposed Sweden's membership into NATO because he quite frankly doesn't want NATO to be strengthened against RuZZian aggression. Often he is the lone opposition voice against the EU's tougher stance against PooTin.

But Trump loves Orban because he is a "strong man", a "tough person."

With his love of Orban, PooTin, Kim Jong-Un, and others like them, Trump is reaffirming his desire to transform America into a Trumptatorship.

And you're going right along with this, given that you think opposing Trump is a "far-left view" that can only originate from the oh-so-radical enclaves of San Francisco and Silicon Valley.

Personally I will always fight for a small-L liberal democracy. If that makes me a left-winger, so be it. I'd be happy to be one over someone who licks the boot of a "strong man."
