I only looked at the first article you cited. I think it is funny, though, that the BBC's complaints with Orban are exactly the same problem spots we have in the US:

The lengthy report criticised Hungary for a host of restrictions on human rights and democratic practices, including attacks on:
  • The independence of judiciary
  • Press freedom
  • LGBT rights
  • Academic freedom
  • Minorities and asylum seeker
You guys want to expand the court to make it more liberal.

We have an abjectly free press, and the result is it lies with impunity and frankly, totally controls our "free election" process.

"LBGT" rights here have expanded to LGBTQIA2s+ and beyond. As Chappelle brilliantly pointed out, even the LBGs don't know what to do with the Ts.

Academic freedom has resulted in a massive stream of idiots with $300,000 degrees to do things which can't earn money because they come out of the inflated education system with PhDs in Lesbian Dance Theory. The result is younger generations are being told to forget about college, it isn't worth it. After all, we'll soon have AGI living our lives for us.

American "asylum seekers" are mostly people who just don't have any other excuse to get them over the border.

How is your vision for America any different than what you claim is happening under Orban?
