For a moment you raised my hopes. I thought you were going to write how it would be good for Russia to invade Poland.

What about if USA takes all its troops back to USA? What are there? 800 bases strung around the world? Tanks just up the road from Murmansk. Ships everywhere. Submarines surrounding Russia armed with gigatons.

It's odd that you can't understand why Russia was frightened by the USA onslaught in Ukraine starting with the Peace Prize Obama murdering coup in Kiev then Odessa then in the east.

Russia sensibly held a vote in Crimea then did paperwork to return it to part of Russia = oops a daisy, the Yanks thought once they had Ukraine they'd evict Russia and convert it to a NATO base ready for further conquest and to further strangle Russia.

Russia's vote was more honest than USA elections. USA voting has started and after the super secure high speed computers have given the official result it should be only January or maybe March. New Zealand, lacking high speed computers, takes not even a day to get the result.

Usually about 10pm, it's done. I've been a vote watcher and counter. It works well. Voters don't even need identification though the government do issue little cards you can take along which makes it easier for the ballot issuer at the polling place to find your name and cross it off the list.

Sometimes there's a recount if the vote is really close. That takes hours not days, weeks and months. Maybe some people people say somebody else's name, but that's a negligible problem. Total votes need to match names voted for example. If somebody voted 10 times at different polling booths, their name would be crossed out ten times. Ballot papers issued have a number linked to the name .... Oooops, caught.

Do you think USA elections are as trustworthy as Russian ones?
