so that USA could take over Ukraine There you go with the terminology. The US has not taken over Ukraine and has no designs on taking over Ukraine. We don't roll that way. All while shrinking Russia further, out of Crimea The default is that Crimea is part of Ukraine. As I wrote, no empathy. I can sure understand why Russia dreams of yesteryear. I can understand the nostalgia, the longing to restore the glory. That doesn't mean they have the right to take it back by force. I watched the Great Courses offering re Eastern Europe fairly recently. Things have switched around over the centuries. My family's home country, Slovakia, has been under all sorts of different control over time. But we are where we are now and Western Civilization demands that we respect that. Russia can develop itself to be the best it can be within its own borders just like everybody else..
