I'm not surprised. We have folks here who complain about other spending a lot of money on expensive autos rather than taking public transit or scooters they use to navigate around the bums on SF sidewalks.

Liberal idiots hate to see the wealthy spend their money on something they enjoy.... they'll say think of all the good things that money could have done rather than:

Pay very smart people to work on space exploration that NASA isn't capable of doing without spending a lot more taxpayer money.

Paid people to build the materials for the space suit that was tested in space.

Paid truckers to move fuel for the rocket.... as well as paid salaries for many smart people to monitor the flight.

Paid local sandwich shop employees money to make lunch for all the reporters who showed up for the launch.

Filled hotel rooms near the launch site for tourists who come to town to watch the launch... many cities get about 13% occupancy tax on those rooms so I'm sure the local towns love it.
A buddy and I plan to eventually go down to watch a Vandenberg launch as a guy's trip... If "you know who" complains about the money we spend, we'll suggest they buy another handbag to get even.
Some rich dude got to spend some of his money on something far more exciting than another yacht... and he doesn't have to pay millions a year to keep the yacht running only to use it once or twice.
That crew - named Inspiration4 - left on a SpaceX capsule from Florida and spent three days in space before splashing down successfully in the Atlantic Ocean. Time magazine estimated that Mr Isaacman paid $200m (£153m) to fellow billionaire Elon Musk for all four seats aboard the SpaceX craft.5 days ago
