To my mind, $100/hour is akin to "For $1 and other good and valuable consideration....". I'd guess that whatever he gets at $100/hour is rounding error compared to his stock holdings.

I think we can safely assume that Barbier is being put out to pasture with just enough hooks to make sure he's available if SAVA ever needs him for anything.

All of which is largely irrelevant to me personally, "it's the trial results, stupid" ;)
