Kurt,

Here was a press release eleven months ago. I am unaware as to whether the beta test has yet been performed, but the last time I spoke with AGTI about Sega, I was informed that the relationship is still alive and well. A former poster on this thread promptly challenged me on that, although I merely related what I had been told. So far as I know, AGTI and Sega are still working with one another. Anyway, here's the press release:

Advanced Gaming Technology, Inc.
News Release

SONIC BINGO TM BETA TEST

Phoenix, Arizona, March 25,1997. SEGA Gaming Technology, Inc . ('SEGA") headquartered in Las Vegas and Advanced Gaming Technology, Inc . ("AGT") announce the appointment of Mr. Bart Masi to serve as President and Chief Operating Officer of a new company being formed for the Sonic BingoTM joint venture.

Mr. Masi previously served as General Manager of Casino Operations for a major Las Vegas gaming company, and will be in charge of the Sonic Bingo project.

Sonic has been in the development phase for the past 12 months, and it is in its final phase of preparation for commercial beta testing. The beta testing is scheduled for April 1997 for a period of up to 60 days between two remote casinos in the Southwestern United States.,

Sonic BingoTM, is a progressive, networked game, designed for Class II and Class III venues, including bingo halls, casinos, and cruise ships. Sonic can be custom-designed to fit each location. Features of Sonic BingoTM include color-coded bingo cards that are displayed on 19" monitors in a variety of configurations. Players interact with the game by simply touching the screen to discard and select new cards on real-time while the game is in progress.

AGT's Prisms SoftwareTm directs the functions of the game. During computertized testing at the AGT Phoenix Technical Center, where over 250,000 games were tested, the average time per game was 90 seconds.

The Prisms SoftwareTM technology allows Sonic Bingo to have local jackpots and four progressive jackpots connected to several remote locations across the country. A Rainbow Progressive Jackpot is unique to each location. Additionally, three progressive jackpots are unique to the network of multiple locations, allowing for major cash jackpots. Thus, Sonic will offer players four progressive levels of possible winnings while a "winner" is guaranteed for each game that is played at each site.
