Thanks Cody. The October 1, 1996 FIRST CALL earnings estimate report for AOL puts the mean estimate for 15 analysts at $1.00 FY June 1997. The PEG they calculated was 0.57 at a share price of $35.50. A prominent brokerage reiterated their BUY on 10/9/96 (I can found out which brokerage that was this evening).

Sure. Companies often fail to meet estimates. However, AOL seems appropriately priced for any such shortfalls, and I find the potential upside opportunities compelling.
