Assuming they respond truthfully to polls. Many lie for rational reasons. For example to put Dems in relaxation mode to discourage marginal voters from bothering.

However IQ, like all human traits is on a bell curve. An angry Low IQ person is more likely to respond to easy solutions than economic data... even disproven "solutions" since they don't understand economics. An angry person is more likely to vote... or to even destroy their own society in revenge.
