Humm....I find that statement a little odd and insulting but maybe you have a point about acting moderator, JBC being the moderator make the decision though I don't recall JBC actually moderating, correct me if I'm wrong and he too is an infrequent poster.

WE have been doing pretty well since HB's passing because ignores are in place for the right individuals. Maybe then we go un-moderated for a while and if it goes wild west here then we ask Ron to just shut the place down and we move down the street.

Being as I was the instigator of the present discussion I have been listening to other's concerns and through respectful discussion we can come to a decision to every bodies liking. Without other input then none of our concerns are being addressed, it's just a forum and the pay is terrible. I personally do not have the will to sit and monitor every post and keep the conversation civil as most don't either, a couple of individuals who actually do not post here often either want the position. Post meaning actual conversation.

so, maybe I over reacted about GZ, I was just thinking of HB's memory and her polite forceful way of keeping the peace. Those 2 said some awful things to each other and would not like to see a repeat.

After further thought I am of the opinion un-moderated is the way to go and if goes down hill I can just click unmark this forum. I appreciate everybody who spoke up.
