Handouts can either go to Wall Street and corporations or to the people. We had the former for the last 30-40 years regardless of who was President. US has become the only G7 country with inequality and lack of upward mobility. I don’t this more of the same will solve anything. I don’t think anything will change either way, except more of the same will continue to polarize the country until it explodes in civil war, so any step to decrease extreme economic polarity is a step in the right direction.
