I guess it depends on the substance of the "key" hand-off. Did the Board Moderator expect to be back to assume control, was it to "pass the torch", or was the hand-off the final act of attrition for board retirement?

I see no reason why a sympathetic replacement could not keep the Board on track - Honey_Bee left a lot of instructions in the Thread Header on the behavior she expected......and to the disposition of the violators.

Edit: I would also add that it seems to be running fine right now (with a few exceptions) and since I don't typically have much content to add I should stick to the sidelines....the removal of bans by SI is NOT a positive, in my opinion.
