I haven't run into this, but are there threads on SI that can be viewed but not posted on?

Sure would hate to lose HBs thread for the wealth of posts it has accumulated.

Could an archive be made of it now and then added to the bottom of a new one with a more relaxed moderation? We've already lost the bans. I don't know who was on there or the history.

Donald Trump won't be the big focus after 2028. I started building up a similar type of commentary on the Liberalism thread. It was highly viewed in the past. That's probably where I'll be bailing to. I hate to lose friends, but I have to trust moderators. I trusted Honey_Bee. I trust Thehammer.

Not sure if I can trust myself as moderator. I tend to be a quick draw on the ignore if I get flamed or insulted.

I didn't see the thread header being honored for violators last week and a lot of people seemed okay with that.

It's not Wild West here yet. I like free speech. A lot. I did not vote at all in the SI poll. Seemed like a Sophie's Choice. I went with Honey_Bee's choice.
Upon arrival at Auschwitz, she had been forced to choose which one of her children would be sent to the gas chamber and killed. If she failed to choose, both would be killed.
