Two years after the Pentagon shot down his ploy for a no-fly zone against Russia in Ukraine, the U.S. “top diplomat” has been at it again pushing an even more insane idea, writes Joe Lauria.

After watching the wars in Libya, Syria, Ukraine, and Israel, Pentagon has had the final say over presidents and diplomats, reining them in on more than one occasion. New York Times and Washington Post have long been known as mouthpieces for the State Department and the CIA. Obama was embarrassed by Gen. Michael Flynn leaking the 2012 Defense Intelligence Agency assessment on Syria. The US started referring to the jihadists trained by the CIA and the Pentagon as "moderate" rebels. Once the "moderate" jihadists were released to fight in Syria, they acted as pass-thru entities to deliver weapons to ISIS, engaging in fake firefights where no one was injured and leaving armored vehicles and heavy weapons for ISIS, sometimes running away and sometimes joining ISIS. |
