Russia was an ally of Nazi Germany at the start of the WW II. Russia and Nazi Germany agreed to divide up Poland. Russia also sent 1.7 million of its own citizens to their death in the Gulag. Putin is a dangerous colonial imperialist. People who don't realize this are very foolish. Putin won't stop at Ukraine - an ally and European democracy. Not by a long shot. The USA and our European allies need to continue to stand by Ukraine. The MAGA GOP has become the party of appeasement, and Trump idolizes foreign tyrants. Trump's stated foreign policy goals are a disaster that will cost many American lives down the road.
