....28,489 days and counting...

The physical aspect of my health is daily cardio. I do High Intensity Interval Training, Medium Intensity Interval Training, and Low Intensity Training. This morning I did MIIT at a nearby forested 220 acre park with steep hills at daybreak.

My watch shows 52.35 minutes, 1.71miles, 415ft elevation gain, 104 average beats per minute, heart rate from 76 to 135(medium by my standards).

The forested trail has multiple hills which I move(lack of a better word) up as quickly as I can and then check my bpm. Usually somewhere from 125-135. I then stop(interval) until the bpm go below 100 and then continue. I take note of how long it takes to recover as that is a measure of my fitness.

My own belief is the benefits of cardio are enormous and too many to list here. I think of one benefit as a blood bath to the brain which imho precludes cortical thinning.
