Has anyone tried Safari 18's new Hide Distracting Items feature yet? It's pretty cool.

To use it on any webpage with elements you'd like to hide, click this icon in the upper left of the address bar...

...then select Hide Distracting Items... from the dropdown menu. Click away on each page element you want removed, they'll be highlighted as your cursor moves over them. The animation for removed items is satisfying too.

I haven't tested it thoroughly to see if it lasts between sessions, and I wonder how long it will take web designers to implement blocks for it.
