Hi E_K_S, That salsa is far from a national footprint. LOL I completed my first double batch just last week. I have 200 more tomatoes waiting for me to cook up during the weekends Packer football game. Skinning 200 tomatoes and chopping up 50 jalapeno peppes,roasting 50 serrano peppers, chopping up onions and sweet peppers takes about 4 hours plus 6 hours of simmering in a Nesco roaster. Yup that 9.3% yield you have is even better. After learning of AMNF from you, I watched it for a year or so and then Thank Goodness I decided to get on the growth train with you. Heck the least I can do is ship you some more Salsa. <smile> My jalapeno peppers are now growing to be very large, The Cayenne finally are growing and the Serrano's are also finally doing well. Tomatoes are coming on so fast, I'm giving them away to friends and our two favorite watering holes. I love this time of year: Garden harvesting Picking fruit from our orchard Deer hunting The good times, as long as t doesn't freeze! Beautiful 75 degree days with blue skies all this week. But colder nights and heavy dews on the plants are coming. Our first frost on average hits by October 5th. Generally if covered, the plants will continue to ripen, but more slowly and some never do. If they are not scarred or damaged we pick them wrap them innewspaper and they will ripen when put in the sun. We are just about BLT'd out. Bob
