Ron, I’m not sure why you removed all the bans. But if it was because they were old, no longer relevant or clutter up the ban list, I certainly understand.

That said, remember about ten or fifteen years ago there was a SI site-wide purge of bans and ignores. I think you should do that again and give everyone a clean slate. There so many posters who have disappeared or died and left dozens of bans and ignores in their absence.

Of course, active posters could always restore the bans and ignores if they wish. Just as they did to some degree years ago.
