A catching up post... New season of "The Tower" is out on Britbox APV with Gemma Whelan again. The storyline looks very complicated. "Viewpoint" on APV was a quality limited series about a surveillance cop who gets drawn in (to say the least) to the neighborhood where has staked out a suspect. You won't guess the ending until it happens. Started "The Lovers" on Acorn APV for light comedy and liked the first episode. We have "Far North" and "Aftertaste" in the queue for the same niche - anyone know them? "The Portable Door" on Netflix seemed like a cute premise, but we finished thinking that there must have been some illegal pharmaceuticals in the writers' room. Oddball at best despite the cast. Enjoying the new series on PBS Sunday nights: Ridley, Moonflower Murders, and Van der Valk. The "Matlock" preview on CBS with Kathy Bates was fairly predictable but promising. They are pairing it with "Elsbeth" starting October 17. Retirement homes everywhere will be thrilled, LOL. Some of you now know to avoid it. Any other good ideas out there?
