It looks as though the ILA is intent on sticking it to the shippers, the consumer, and the economy.

By limiting automation, U.S. port technology will be frozen in time, port calls will take longer than necessary, costs for everything will rise.

Requiring manned gates is like requiring human elevator operators in buildings.
