Rarebird, if you want to talk about policy differences, I'll bring up one that is near and dear to my heart.
And that is LEGAL immigration.
Trump used to have a good message when he opposed illegal immigration and wanted to take a hard-line stance against those illegally crossing the border or otherwise gaming the system.
In fact, border security was one of Trump's strongest issues, ranking right up there with the economy.
But with his cAt-eAtInG hAiTiAn gaffe, Trump and JD proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are against LEGAL immigration as well.
I work with a lot of legal immigrants. Some are here permanently. Some hope to gain permanent status. All of them love the opportunities that are presented here, and all of them contribute greatly to America's high-tech leadership.
Yet there is a significant chance that, if the Mango Mussolini becomes president, that he'll send all of those immigrants back home and tell us, "You need to first hire rEaL aMeRiCaNs, not these cheap-ass Indians who smell like curry, and certainly not these Chinese guys who are all spying for CHY-NAH!"
You may disagree, but that's where I come from.
Most voters basically vote for their self-interest, and I'm telling you that this is MY self-interest.
So if you want to talk policy, please tell me where I'm wrong and that Trump is actually going to be better for me than Harris.
