Today is the day you are required to use winter tires to drive on most of the highways in BC, and appropriately, it is also the frist day snow appears in the weather forecasts, albeit only for a northern stretch bordering Yukon. Thanks to a cool wet fall in most areas, we are down to 180 wild fires burning in the province, with yesterday being the first day since last winter that no new fires were reported. 2024 was certainly a relief after we broke all the records for wildfires last year. WHo knows what 2025 will bring... LC
