Look I like Intel. I have 200 shares, but let's be correct here. It is a marketing and technological optimizer, not a real barn-burning innovator. Look at the PA-RISC, PowerPC, Alpha etc. They were ALL better technology chips because they did NOT have to have x86 reverse compatibility. BUT, intel blasted them because of 1- x86 reverse compatibility which everybody wanted/needed. 2- Absolutely superb manufacturing knowhow, cookie cutter fabs plants up in no time, and virtually identical. Almost PERFECT ecxecution 3- Paranoid and attentive management, very FOCUSED [Good] 4- Marketing knowhow. That's my 0.02c Take care Jean
