Iran would be in big trouble in a war against Israel. First of all, despite its size, the Israeli economy is bigger than Iran's. Secondly, Israeli society will be united in a war against Iran whereas Iranian society will be completely divided. Keep in mind that many Iranian women are quite resentful that they have to cover up their face when they go out. Israeli women serve in the military and are quite powerful in the tasks they serve. Moreover, Iran will not be able to keep their own oil exporting ships safe from Israeli attack should that come to pass.

Iran is a poor third world country where many of its citizens have resentment and anger toward its religious government. Israel has a very vibrant economy with its population very supportive of its government. There is a healthy amount of patriotism amongst Israelis whereas Iranians resent the government for spending an extraordinary amount of money on defeating the Jewish State. Once economic sanctions are imposed on Tehran again, if Trump regains power, the Iranian economy may just crack.

Israel has a very powerful air force and can easily destroy Iran's nuclear facilities.

Tehran rules over its people with an iron fist, whereas in Israel, the government is not oppressive in the least and views its citizens as partners.

The bottom line here is that Israel can easily defeat Iran in war, especially with US support, in the for m of updated weapons and supplies.
