California Amplifier Announces Domestic Orders For Multicipher Plus(Tm) Scrambling System
CAMARILLO, Calif., Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- California Amplifier Inc today announced the Company has received a $3.0 million order from Heartland Wireless Communications Inc , for its MultiCipher Plus(TM) scrambling system.
Heartland Wireless Communication develops and operates 45 Wireless Cable television systems throughout the United States with over 200,000 subscribers. This order represents product requirements for 11 of Heartland's analog Wireless Cable systems in the southwestern and midwestern United States. MultiCipher Plus will provide security for Heartland's broadcast signal while also enabling Heartland to offer flexible multi-tiered programming packages to its subscribers.

California Amplifier designs, manufactures and markets a broad line of amplifiers, down converters, antennas and integrated products for the reception of microwave signals used primarily in conjunction with the delivery of multichannel television. Additionally, the Company manufactures and markets MultiCipher(R), a broadband scrambling technology used for encoding and decoding of multichannel television signals.
