Inode, the study in that first link you cited is sus. That was actually a "study of studies," where they took over 18,000 studies on lockdowns and filtered them down to a small handful, but there is no consensus on how that filter should work.

I'm telling you that the early lockdown in California helped to stop the spread of the disease, where Andrew Cuomo's resistance of a lockdown in New York turned that state into the first Ground Zero during the early days of the pandemic.

Maybe you can come up with a better explanation instead of long-winded denials, because that's how science works. The cure for bad science is BETTER science, not better denials.

By the way, Sweden was one of the few European countries that eschewed lockdowns at the beginning. But when their hospitals filled up and their death rates skyrockets in comparison to other European nations, ESPECIALLY their Nordic neighbors, they switched course.
