Got it. California has a lower-than-average COVID death rate not because of lockdowns, mask-wearing, and vaccinations, but because there aren't that many smokers here.

In other words, that comorbidity thingy.

Speaking of which, I'll never forget how the Q Continuum defended Florida's higher-than-average COVID death rates. "It's because there is a high percentage of elderly people in the state, DUH!"

If that's the case, then Gov. DeathSantis should have been MORE vigilant in protecting his vulnerable constituents from COVID-19. But as we all know, he's the anti-lockdown governor.

(And the anti-vax governor, given how the Florida Dept. of Health is telling seniors NOT to get boosted.)
