I disagree with below..Ferrari has huge markups, they will charge $500 for a paper owner's manual or $700 for a key, just things like that, not exact prices...Ferrari bought the roof for much less i believe...
The take rate is over 90% I'd say, BMW ix over 90% as well in it's smartglass roof...if royalty was $1000 and 2800 cars had them that would be 2,800,000 mil rev per year, this is not the case
I am guessing Ferr will bring 300-400k rev per q and if so that is great.....that is about 1 mil a year...at 2700 cars that is $357 a car...and if $357 is 15% of ferr cost, they are paying right about $2400 per roof wholesale...

Last thing we want is ferr having to pay $6750 for a wholesale spd roof...grant it it does have more costly curves, features as joe discussed in CC but the less spd smartglass wholesale costs auto makers the much higher likelyhood it will be in more cars and cheaper cars.
Zeeker 001 using SPD is good and bad but much more good than bad....Bad is it is chinese to chinese sale and they stole spd....Ferr, Mclaren, Merc, GM. Aston Martin, Bentley did not steal spd so outside of china i am not worried about that.........Good and important part is, is it shows makers want spd, and spd can be done in a cheaper car like the zeeker001, this is very important and crucial...
The Purosangue glass roof option is around $13,500. I think the way we guessed the royalty amount was dividing that number in half to reflect the cost on which Refr royalty to be.
So if the wholesale price is $6,750 then a 10% royalty is 675 and a 15% royalty is $1,012.5.
I don't think there is a way to determine the make rate but given the reviews, it should be significant.
