Actually, should be an extremely fast drive. Speed is one of the reasons I usually specify Quantum drives. Was installing Win95 and Office97 on client machines last night, where I copied everything from the network to local, then did the install from the local drives. Most of the machines there have WD 1.6g drives, but I recently put Quantum 2.1g drives in a few. The machines with the Quantum drives finished their installs MUCH more quickly than the WD's. Looked like 30-40% faster.
