Yes, STLA. And VWAGY. They're a problem. Have held shares in both - rode 'em up, and now down. Taking recent losses, I sold some of each. I've only held small positions, so losses now aren't great. Still, hurts giving up gains and seeing red (VWAGY).

I'll hold on to the few shares I have left. Bought a Subaru in '73. (They were janky then I soon found out.) The stock though...didn't consider it. Until I later read Peter Lynch story of buying Subaru shares at that time. I believe @$3 and his selling within couple of years for over $32. Vowed that with the next cars I bought, I'd also take shares of the car manufacturers. And that's what I have done. (now having owned electric Fiats for more than 12 years, Audi's for more than 10 and various amounts of their shares over that time.)

STLA seems to be an example of how, when things go bad for car manufactures, they go really bad, and what earlier seemed to be a good financial cushion, isn't.
